About

My name is Jacob Otuafi and I am from Sparks, NV. I previously attended Boise State University for my first two years of college and was a human bio major. I transferred to Chadron State last year and am currently a sports and rec. major. My reason for transferring is because Boise State dropped their wrestling program and so I decided to continue my wrestling career here.

Career Goals

When I graduate from Chadron my plan is to continue my education at a chiropractic school, I am not sure what school I plan on attending but I hope it is somewhere closer to home. One of the main reasons that I want to study chiropractics is because of the impact that it has had on me. Being a wrestler my body goes through some abuse and seeing a chiropractor has helped me feel a lot better. I hope to one day work with other athletes and possibly be a team chiropractor at a university or for a major sports team.

Passions

Since I was born I have been involved in athletics. Both of my parents were top athletes and my mom owns a Gymnastics Gym. I started wrestling when I was four years old and have been doing it for seventeen years now. Since Ive been in college I have had two hip surgeries and currently need a hip replacement, through all of this the sport of wrestling still remains to be my biggest passion.

Summary

In conclusion, I am fully dedicated to wrestling and it’s really all I have ever known since I was little. My life goal is to be a chiropractor for a university or major sports team, I hope to one day work with other athletes and help them foster the love they have for their sport.
